Welcome to my Web site!

I have just started this web site, but check back often as I start to update it. I will be putting some information and links on this site soon.  I enjoy cooking and gardening and home decorating.  Our home has most of the walls covered with photographs or our sons, Ryan and Michael.  I also enjoy candles, especially the aromatic ones, and I have a lot of little figurines around the house.  I am a high school teacher so an busy during the school year, but hope to have time over the summer to work on this web site.  I may post some links of interest to other teachers.

February 2008 has been a fun month.  I was in the local newspaper as our school was honored for getting re-certified - SEHS Business Education Department for Industry Certification, then I was surprised but proud to be nominated and win Teacher of the Year at South Effingham High School.  My husband took a picture of the sign in front of the school.  I have not done as much as I had hoped with this web site.  However, as part of our school store I recently set up a web page for the store, called "THE STANG ZONE".  I hope this continues to be a great year for all of us.

I enjoy reading inspirational books and may post some of my favorites on this web site.  Here is a link to video and song that I hope you will find inspiring.
